They have seen the frozen water from space but I assume haven't actually sampled it yet?
Whatever it is I bet it will be a lot less interesting than people think it will be...

If the mission is a success already then NASA had better use this as a great big stick to beat the government into giving them more money!

The fact that they've made an announcement that they aren't yet making an announcement suggests to me that whatever it is, they need to do lots of verifying and double checking first. Which means its probably evidence of water, a mineral or possible evidence of life.
Its clearly not going to be....
