National insurance cut

No, this budget hasn't moved the needle much if at all. But as someone who's lived long enough to see too many elections. I can predict how it will go. I gave my prediction, you can save it and come back to see if I'm right. lets see.
I've already said the same as you but it seems to fall on some deaf ears. I've had 50yrs of elections but apparently that doesn't count

I have also seen many, regardless of politics this cycle is over is my view. Let see in May or October or January or whenever they have the stones to put their weak proposition to the country.

Of course it's over, because the majority of the voters will only use what has happened to their finances, ie am I better off or not. Simple I know but it works for me. How far the win will be is conjecture but it will be a win, I would be surprised if they actually manage to get in again

So you’ll be familiar with the cycles we go through then. Do you think this lot have the ideas to get a bonus term?
If you have read some of my posts I have already said that elections go in cycles with the odd extended term. I have also said how I think the results will be without any data to back me up

Hang on Tony, you agreed with “it will be a hung parliament at best” based on……2010 alone or something else? Please share!

I have agreed that it's over, based on the cycle. A cycle that happens almost regardless of a comparison to another election.

Great £450 quid in my pocket a year... until you factor the food shop will be up 300 quid a year, broadband/phone/council tax/utilities up another 200 and that's before the mortgage deal ends later then this year which will be another 3k

Not fooling me jezza

We could turn the UK in to a tax haven, but the EU would launch nuclear tipped toys from their pram.
Why do you want to make the UK worse? Tax haven for companies that aren't even here, pay even less taxes so there's even less in the coffers for the average joe, etc etc.

Could be that Nasher is thinking about making us an international tax haven, separate from our system. In that way the country will basically get money for nothing. The wealthy put money here so they don't have to pay tax at home and we just change them for the privilege. Very little outlay on our part and potential large profits

Of course, that would work. It's not like there are global agreements and systems to prevent this from happening, otherwise...well everyone would do it.

BVI etc already do this and it works because of their privacy laws and corporate laws.

Money for nothing indeed :D

Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco and the Bahamas do very well out of it.

Last time I checked they are on the same world as us.
