NBA 2013/2014 Season!

Pau finalising a deal with the Bulls which points Melo back towards the Knicks. Bosh re-signing with the Heat is a bit of a kick in the nads for the Rockets considering they've just traded Lin to the Lakers to free more space to offer a bigger contract. They've also got until the end of today to match the offer from the Mavs for Parsons as well.

Paul Pierce to the Wizards on a 2 year, $11m deal. Heat favourites to sign Deng. Bulls will have to amnesty Boozer to sign Gasol although Pau tweeted that he's officially joined.

Deng deal apparently done to Heat.

To he fair they may still make the playoffs as they have a decent team in Bosh/Wade and Deng but they certainly won't be winning anything.

East won't really be any different as it will just be Cavs dominating instead of the Heat and the same old also rans. Playoffs will probably be exactly the same with Cavs taking the Nets place.

After all the hype and even with Bron moving it's been a bit of a damp squib for me with Hayward, Lowrey, Gortat, Randolph, Bosh and Melo all signing back.

Think we will see the Heat being a bit more active picking up a few more FA's and a Riley trade coup is a potential though unlikely with no pieces to shift about. Probably only interesting thing left is the potential Love trade. Current rumour is Bennett, Waiters and first round picks for him.

I'm sure Daryl Morey has a plan Z stashed away somewhere. Bad off season so far though. Same roster with more experience would probably have been a tough out in the 2nd round and possibly a threat to the Conference title.

Shame really.

Probably garbage speculation but Heat linked with Stephenson and Monroe. Would actually leave them with a relatively good roster if they signed them;

Bosh/Deng/Monroe/Stephenson/Chalmers

Not title winning but certainly not as horrific as it could be. Though I highly doubt they will sign either.

D Wade has resigned at the Heat according to NBA.com, interesting season for them coming up.

Boozer was always going to get amnestied as soon as Mirotic signed. Not really going to miss Boozer, our stats always went down when he was on the court. Mirotic, Noah, Gasol, Taj... thats four pretty athletic forwards (All be it that Pau is getting on quite a bit now) over 6'9 that all take up different places on the court. Looking forward to seeing this season already.

Boozer definitely waived. Kris Humphries potentially signing for Wizards for three years. Lance Stephenson apparently agreed terms with Charlotte.

Hopefully the East will be better this season seeing as it was pretty crap last year.

Lakers have picked up Boozer.

Lakers have made out like bandits this off-season, they got Boozer stupidly cheap and ofc Lin last week.

Interesting to see what suns have planned Blesdoe is a RFA and wanting a max deal which they're going nowhere near and neither are any other teams. They've offered 12m I think which is pretty reasonable considering how injury prone he is, the Suns have picked up some decent guards this off season, to me it feels like they don't care if he leaves.

Potentially leaves them more money to re sign the Dragon next year!
