NBA 2013/2014 Season!

Lakers have made out like bandits this off-season, they got Boozer stupidly cheap and ofc Lin last week.

Interesting to see what suns have planned Blesdoe is a RFA and wanting a max deal which they're going nowhere near and neither are any other teams. They've offered 12m I think which is pretty reasonable considering how injury prone he is, the Suns have picked up some decent guards this off season, to me it feels like they don't care if he leaves.

Potentially leaves them more money to re sign the Dragon next year!

Bledsoe has rejected the contract offer from the Suns. He's on his way out as well. Might end up at the Magic seeing as they waived Nelson.

Surgery was a success and no ancillary damage which is a bit of a result. Apparently the NBA are kicking off at FIBA because the base of the stanchion was too close to the baseline seeing as they've to play by their standards.

Wasn't this played at University of Las Vegas so it was right by NCAA standards?

Not that it's right at all, this was bound to happen sooner or later and needs standardising

It's FIBA because they are preparing for the World Cup. Every other country plays to FIBA standards whilst the NBA stick with their own.

A lot of players have been voicing their concerns about how close the stanchion is to the baseline for quite some time now but nothing has been done. I can see Adam Silver doing something about it seeing as he listens to the players.

It needs to be standardised across the board.

Apparently it's an unofficial done deal for Love to the Cavs. Deal will be completed on the 23rd or 24th of August which is funnily enough, the day that Wiggins is eligible for trade.

Wow...

BREAKING: Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves agree to deal for Kevin Love.
The deal reportedly involves Andrew Wiggins, 2013 No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett & protected 2015 1st-rd pick. Yahoo Sports reports Love will re-sign w/ Cleveland on 5-year deal.

KD is going to get over $320m over the next ten years with Under Armour and also equity stake within the company!!

That's an insane amount of money!
