Yes, although the mod scene is going to be slower as the file compression or somethign has changed. Other than that, the gameplay is a lot tighter, presentation is nuts and if you like legends then that mode is fun as well.

Id say NBA 2K is the only game that really makes use of its annual cycle and upgrades itself in the core areas; ie gameplay.

Skipped last year but this year is a lock in.

A great series of games and good to see 2K continue releasing it on the PC.

Yeh I get you guys, I think my player might convince me to buy the game as they have revamped it, the passing in 2K11 was a bit annoying as it sometimes doesn't go where you want, otherwise it was an excellent game. 2K series is the only series I actually buy year on year, I mean u get a lot of value for £15.

Gonna skip Madden, FIFA and maybe even PRO Evo this year

Whats the 2k series like on PC? Been playing them on PS3 found them great, I assume they use the same game engine?

Haven't played an NBA game since 2K3 and to a far lesser/different extent Street v2.

Been hearing great things about this series lately. Will probably pick this up, as I'm sure to be fairly impressed regardless.

I used to play hours and hours of multiplayer NBA 2K on the Dreamcast with my brother back in the day . . . good times. Is this series still good then?

They are the same versions.

Obviously, multiplayer maybe is quieter than the PS3 owing to the niche of the sport in PC terms.

Great might have to purchase it will down load the demo on my brothers PS3 see what its like, I'm sure it will be great I wonder if they have the old street mode like on 2k5

Played a good bit of 2k11 last year & was a very decent game. Looked excellent & played well with a 360 pad

Had a good season going with the Celtics until the cpu traded my 2 best players ( Didn't realize it was set to cpu trade, doh ). Tried the mp a few times but never seemed to get any euro players & the lag was awful to USA folks.

Definitely one of the better sports games on the PC & worth a look at if your into that sort of thing

Reading reviews, they say it's a big improvement from 2K11, and from that I've just pre-ordered from Play for only £14.99!

Some of the details and stuff they've done sounds awesome.

2K12 treats every game like a televised matchup, with intros, animated roster lineups, and commercials for upcoming games. The crowds and stadiums are realistic and react to how well your team does. Seeing nobody show up to a Charlotte Bobcats game (a serious real life issue for the franchise) and then watching the seats fill as you take the Bobcats to their first ever playoff appearance highlights the level of detail.

That just sounds great!

Really looking forward to getting this, and as soon as I've got the internet back I'll definitely be up for a few games with anyone on here.

^ okay 2K12 is a must buy

I got 2K11 for £13 from Play as well, so 2 games will be £28, that's like the cost of one year of Pro Evo or FIFA and I reckon this is a better game

i have 2k11 its one of my fave sports games..

2k12 looks great gameplay wise but some of the players look ridiculous.. dirk nowitzki?.. erik spoelstra in the demo looked like he'd been hit with a sledgehammer O.o

hmm game is a lil more expensive on Steam, wonder if it is worth the extra £5 (costs $30 if u buy from US Steam store)

If any game justifies buying a xbox controller for pc it must be this, couldn't imagine playing a 2K game with a keyboard.

Got the game today off steam store.

It pretty much feels like 2k11, however defence is a lot better with blocks etc.

I dont like how Y is now post up...
