Decided to buy off Steam

Got mine today

Sunk hundreds of hours into 2k11. This years sounds amazing

HOWEVER. Mine crashes at a black screen on start up FML

Its awesome, its a shame the NBA is in lockout so we dont have the latest rookies/rosters.. but I was doing My Player as a test last night and was sucked right in.

Had to play in the showcase game, railed 16pts in a double OT loss! Infact I missed the chacne to win the game with a 3 rolling around the rim before popping out

Then the Suns, Warriors and Rockets all interviewed me.. I told the Rockets to shove it

and thought id go 14th to the Suns... but then the Warriors jumped in on the 11th pick and took me, did a huge billboard with me on as their new ad campaign

My player looks like a cross of Anderson Varejao and B-Diddy with huge bright yellow Adidas trainers on lol

We got pummelled by the Lakers in the opener though, I struggled with the pace of it.. Ellis and Curry carried us, but Kobe was legit all night stroking 40.

oh and if you like mods www.nba-live.com is the best place to start with, there are others... ill get them all together and sort out the opening post.

Made an Allen Iverson clone for my player and got drafted 9th by the bobcats easy enough.

I'm not enjoying it as much as 2k11 though so far which is a shame, i'll give it a bit more of a chance but I don't think this one will be a long termer for me.

I'm not to sure, I think it's a combination of a few little things like control, play and presentation changes. Playing it on the ps3 doesnt help though as the load times make me want to pull my hair out.

A little off topic but yes. I had a Polo once. It was about 15mm off the ground, terrible over speed bumps/

In other news I have to run 2k12 in compatability mode for some reason. Then it works. Lame.

^ I played 2K11 on a 9600GSO at 1920x1200, 80FPS so you should be okay

I loved 2k10 but with most sports games skip a year as they are pretty samey. Decided to buy this in the end so hopefully get it in a few days. Pretty good value for £15.
