NBA 2K12

Really nooby question here, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to set up an online game between me and my friend. I seem only able to go to multiplayer mode which just offers for me to play a quick match against a random quick matching against someone - nothing else!!?
 
so even though there's posts from PC users who seem to have played friends online...including on here its not been working? Im so confused! Why isnt there an in built game feature to just add a friend and do it there and then a-la fifa style

If you call jumping through hoops (pun intended) to play at 15fps playing - lol

Honestly, it is broke.
 
im amazed. NBA is up there for big titles alongside FIFA. How have they got away with having such a shocking game feature missing!!
 
I don't have this game I have 2k11.

Anyway didn't want to make a seperate thread for this, but this game seems almost dead online?

The menu is a bit...of a mess and I might not be seeing the action but I don't believe there is anyone playing. Is that correct?

Me and all my mates are avid basketball fans and the large majority have given up on this, I'd stick with 2k11 personally as this isn't worth the upgrade
 
Hey guys,

Thought I'd revive this thread up a little.

Got my hands on it today, by pure chance.

I only have a GAMEWare controller, which is a imitation PS2/3 controller.

The controller works, but the button-notificaitons are all weird, and it's a bit hard to play.

So is there a way that I can get it so that the game thinks I'm playing with an XBOX 360 controller?
