I did exactly the same with my new MINI Countryman S, not delicate but tried not to break 4500. Obviously sometimes you get carried away anyway
Exactly!

What is the build quality like, to a euro car?
I still can't believe the price, 35k for that engine is crazy! For a brand new car
As soon as my son is a bit older, the Jag can become the family car and I'm getting one of these!
Please come to the meet Gibbo, pretty please I'd love a passenger ride, but I'd settle for hearing that noise in person

No break in, think I hit rev limiter on my first drive.
As long as engine is warm and everything upto temperature, then its OK.
I am doing no body work, all I will go for is a rear wing in future, nothing else, the car has beautiful lines and aero as standard, no need to change.
I think that's lovely Gibbo. Nice spec, presence and great power for the money, and your existing and planned mods only add to it.
I can't see any difference in the "decklid" though? It looks as if the edge is deeper in the 2nd pic but I can't see how, as the wings match up.
Why the offset front numberplate? I'm not a huge fan of that, even when there is a reason (such as with the Alfa GTA and the Evo's).
I edited my post, to show the original, so check it.
Original decklid is a fake plastic gas filler cap with GT written on it. My new decklid is just a chrome running pony.
Number plates were temporary, final plates now on the car:-
So the front plate is now removed and I am using a removable bracket that easily unlocks and locks into place so I can remove for shows etc. It is off at a slight angle though, will fix that tonight.
The rear plate not much change, just not wonky and a plainer looking plate with no dealer advertising on it and of course my private plate.
Looks so much better now!
Looking at the front shot there with the lights on, does it not have LED running lights? It doesn't look like it does from the pics but I could have sworn that pics I'd seen of US cars had them.
The US spec cars have tri bar LED DRLs at the front next to the headlights. For some odd reason, they removed them on the Euro/UK Spec cars. So the fog lights are the DRLs :/.
