NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

Red rear lights look great, black roof I think is subtle enough against the main colour to not look out of place, but can't decide whether I like it or not from photos. Will reserve judgement until I see it in person.

I like the acid green accents....think those work really well.

500HP in a car that can corner and rev, simply amazing, and such a shame we don't get it here, to the point where it puts me off the standard V8 knowing that a better version exists.

To be honest my car is as close as your gonna get to a GT 350 over here, its now on par handling wise, maybe a touch better. Its making almost the same power and if you wanted you can rev it just as high, though I find 7500rpm is more than high enough to be honest in it.

If I wanted to do the final piece of the cake with mine, then fitting of a 350 front bumper really works very well on the GT, see the picture attached. That is the Ikon GT 350 bumper, same material as OEM and cost $725. No need to go hood and fenders, I was pulling the trigger on this bumper but now I am committing to an MY18 it is pointless doing such a modification, maybe the next owner will do it.

Of course your not gonna have what makes the 350 well a 350, which is the FPC, Mag ride. But styling, power, handling and interior can be done to a UK RHD if you really wanted. Only petrol heads would know and when it comes to Mustangs there is no bad, its just a case of is it the V8 ones, oh yes! CAN I HEAR IT! :D

Never buy the EB, woooosh wiiiisshhhhh tashhhhh poooooop!

I like it. Dont get the hang up on the roof. Car is dark enough to get away with it. If it was red or yellow rather than grey I would probably say it was too much.

Rear lights look brilliant too.

Lovely photos buddy, thanks for taking those. :)

The yellow belongs to Mike, the owner of Modurstang.

As I was saying yesterday, the beauty of Mustangs is the huge amount of variation, there is not one identical car as every owner modifies them in some way or other, whether it be from a tyre valve cap to a full on wide body car.

Our group also won first prize for the day, of best car stand, but the only Ford there on the day that could one up Mustangs in looks department was the insanely gorgeous Ford GT's, the blue and white one, though the blue was my favourite and photos do the new Ford GT NO justice, in person it is just so jaw droppingly gorgeous and the angles/curves are just WOW. For me its one of the best looking supercars full stop, my only complaint is, well is it a bit snobbish to moan how it has a Ford badge on it. :D

Only had a 35mm on me so didn't manage to get a good rear shot especially with the fence right behind the car.

I didn't bother exhibiting this year and sort of glad I didn't as the FiestaSTOC stand was a bit poor compared to last year. Cars weren't really clean and looked a bit of a shambles. There was a lady going around on your stand that was giving out cards for modurstang?

Probably Mikes wife.
Our stand probably won due to variation, all the S550's were different, quite a few S197's present including Shelby's and some classics too, shame Ford did not bring an MY18 over, would love to have seen one in the flesh, particular in orange fury.

It is a great looking car.

The only extremely minor thing I would say is that the pony on the grill looks a bit lost. Blends too well into it, but then again that could just be the photos!

I like it like that, end of the day you could paint it any colour or even buy a light up one or even a custom one, seen all kinds of Pony's on the front of them, some even remove it completely and put a badge offset to the side of their own choosing like the GT350 has.

When I was a kid I always thought the cars with a horse were some unknown obscure brand. Maybe not even a real make since I only saw them on TV, see the Wraith. I never knew it was a Ford, I realised it was not Ferrari but was never sure. They had so many variations now it is its own brand, not really a Ford to me. Just like I'd take a Ford GT with no arguments also :D
