NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

This was one of those "I saw this and thought of you" moments :D :p

Took a visit to my buddy Mac today who has a yellow Mustang, V8 of course who has made some very nice modifications to his, though this is just the start for his car.

Two absolute stunners, though I don't envy Mac, I get people winding their windows down, people going out of there way to take photos and kids screaming MUSTAAAAANG as I drive past, my car is subtle, Mac's is going to get a lot of attention especially when he has finished with it. :D

TBH with the design of the front bumper, I can't see why a regular UK plate wouldn't fit just fine and look perfectly acceptable. Do UK spec cars come with a plate plinth to suit the regular UK numberplate?

Not tempted to run a small front plate like on the yellow car gibbo? It looks very tacked on and a bit awkward the way its fixed now.

Not tempted in slightest, far prefer how it is now and ease of removing.
Am going to get myself a smaller rear plate though like my mates and mount it higher up.

I'm not a fan of the square plate either. The Yellow one looks ok but tbh to save hassle I would just have a legal UK plate on that bit. It's big enough that it would look ok.

It's looking likely that I'll be picking my car up on Saturday :D

Most people expect £40-50k when you says it's a V8 :D

Hope you enjoy it mate, the new car love has still not worn off, the M3 has not being driven once to work, hence why I keep taking it for a run at weekends to keep everything sweet.

Just for me the Mustang is a brilliant, comfortable daily driver that has more heritage and something so different on our UK roads, the grin on my face every morning when I start it up.

It does the hooligan and covering ground fast remarkably well too, it only weakness is wet ability, maybe down to tyres or not, but in the wet I just cruise or keep it smooth.

Enjoy the car mate! :)
