NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

Hi there

OK guys as the plate has caused so much reaction, I put the stock plate back on, just higher up and happy with results. :)

A few more images of the new rear ride height. :)

Now its all settled, will get the alignment checked today/tomorrow. Also I forgot to mention something very important, I also did a running in oil and filter change yesterday, car had clocked 1100 miles. I used Millers 5W-20 with Ford specification and went with Millers because it also had ACEA approvals as well whereas the other Ford spec oils did not, so my thought process was the Millers went through more testing to meet more specifications. For now I am going to stick with Ford recommendation and change oil every 5000-6000 miles. :)

The manual states 7.6l but the filter Ford provided is actually bigger than the factory fit filter so the car actually took just shy of 8l.

I think the wheels on it look pretty good. They contrast with the silver trim. I'm not a fan of the everything as dark as possible look on everything at the moment tbh....

Agreed hence leaving them and just deciding on what wheels to get for when tyres have had it. :)

I am not, they are staying as they are, just buying new wheels instead. :)

Its OK, does not matter. :)

The ford spec is tested in ford engines and approved by ford. The other stuff is pretty irrelevant and you've gone for a pretty average thing there.

Just seemed odd after how much you were concerned with the Porsche

I've put in what Ford approved/specification oil. :)

What would you recommend me to use?

I wasn't sold on these until I saw one IRL today - I felt it was just a rehash of an old classic.

The pics here don't do it justice, these things look EPIC in the flesh. Firmly sold on them now, and the noise! Wow! Not sure if it had the stock pipes but it sounded amazing!

Need a test drive ASAP!
