NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

I like them :) suits the shape of the car but I agree with your comment of the wheels looking a bit small.

What size are the new wheels you are getting?

Hi there

Wheels ordered in 20x10" ET32 fronts (275/35/20 MPSS) and 20x11" ET55 rears (295/35/20 MPSS). :)

I know its not a Mustang, but watch this video:

That is Ford/GM's new 10-speed auto box, listen to those shifts and rumoured to shift faster than BMW's lastest DCT, hugely impressive from GM and Ford. :)

Will be an option in GM's latest 2017 Camaro ZL1 and 2017/2018 Mustang. :)

no it's definitely not a Mustang...........a Mustang looks good, that's ugly as hell

I've never being keen on Camaro's but its not ugly as hell, but does look like a great showcase for Ford/GM's new joint operation 10-speed auto, seems very quick.

Mustang and Challenger are best looking muscle cars full stop along with Corvette but some would argue the Corvette is a true sports car and not muscle car.

Impressive gearbox that, and the 'box the Mustang deserved in the beginning. It's a pity it wasn't available at launch.

The ZL1 looks absolutely fantastic, 640bhp in the lightweight chassis of the new Camaro? Where do I sign?

It's also pretty cool that the guy in charge of Global Product Development at GM can drive on the track like that. Mary Barra, CEO, is also a petrolhead. Good times at GM. :)

Yes and the Camaro has always being great handling car and the latest version is even better. To be honest the new stuff from GM and Ford handle really well its only the Challengers/Chargers that are lacking in that respect but if they are still working with Mercedes then next gen Challenger could be incredible if the new C63 GTS coupe is anything to go by as that is one of the best handling cars on the market and they even gave it hydraulic steering.

Lets just hope GM come to UK like Ford have as official Camaro and Corvettes in EU/UK would shake things up a bit considering BMW, Audi and Mercedes don't even really have a car that can rival the Corvettes handling ability.

Just booked myself on the North Coast road trip. :)

There is a rough plan at the moment which is subject to change depending on numbers, but it’s looking something like this…

Thursday 21st - the “pre meet”
Location TBC but potentially Inverness Ford, depending on numbers. A place to meet new faces and discuss you journeys before we hit the roads in the following days.

Friday 22nd - the MNC500 begins
A morning set off with a meet somewhere picturesque around lunchtime, before heading off somewhere with a nice big car park and good food for the evening

Saturday 23rd - the main event
Saturday will be where all the fun happens. Again, depending on numbers, we are intending to organise some good food, drink & music - until late!

Sunday 24th - your day
Sunday will be yours to do what you wish, there is plenty to see and do.

Monday 25th - the farewell meet.
A final chance to meet up before we all hit the road until the next meet!

Can't wait, great views and so far about 12 Mustang's all going will convoy with my buddy in the yellow Mustang. :)

Ahaha, is everyone still claiming it's not a big car... :p

Straight away, there’s an issue. In America the Mustang is a small car. But in the UK it is ginormous. And it has the turning circle of Jupiter. Which means that a three-point turn in Monmouth Road is actually a 72-point turn with much swearing.

As are all GT cars then:
So - the Mustang: Width (inc mirrors) 2080mm. But then, the Mercedes SL is 2099mm. The BMW 6 coupe is 2090mm. The new Mondeo 2121mm Etc. All GT/Saloons.

So it is really a rather pointless point to make, it is no bigger than other GT's, hey its smaller than the latest Mondeo, just the way its proportioned makes it look big but last time I checked this is a muscle car, its supposed to have a huge hood, sorry bonnet.

But to say its gigantic is fine if the other GT's from BMW, Mercedes are also classed as gigantic considering they are actually wider than the Mustang. :)

Perhaps Pioneer thinks its big because he lacks the ability to park something larger than a Daewoo Matiz?

I felt 0 problem with the Mustangs size, heck my CC is 10mm wider!
