NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

Had this part for months, just held of fitting until I had my rear spoiler/wing sorted.

So here is the Steeda front splitter fitted:

I am really very happy with how this turned out, I do not like the APR carbon one because it sticks out a lot more and the carbon finish does not go with rest of the car and the rubber lip on the edge of the carbon looks wrong.

I like this Steeda part as its the same surface as the stock GT trim but a little darker so it does not hide the GT PP front valance lines, its come out great, subtle but aggressive.

Hopefully later this week I will get the RTR side skirts and rear splitters fitted and then just waiting for the Ford Shelby 350 track pack spoiler to arrive.

Hi there

Was about to order my wheels tonight and MMR who make specific Mustang fit forge wheels just announced a new Forge wheel:

Being a Mustang specific wheel I can get any size and offset made along with any finish, though I'd probably go with liquid silver which is a clean gloss silver/grey. The bad news they are Forged, could be expensive but no doubt around 10kg per wheel, have to wait for pricing, but really like them and the fact they are Mustang specific designed wheel is desirable. :)

I had settled to order HRE FF15's flowformed wheels as seen here:

I absolutely love the look of those and the colour is liquid silver which would work on my car even better.

But gonna hold out for the MMR FS02 as its so unique, has more size options and could be similar price and I prefer the design as though very similar I think it suites the Mustang better which one would expect as its Mustang specific wheel. :)

Surely best to just colour the ones you have already ?

They are heavy and they wont take wider tyres unfortunately. Even though the design and colour has grown on me hugely since lowering the car and changing offsets so they sit flush I still prefer a different design and a slightly darker silver colour. :)

I have to say it looks good as it is, splitter works I think.

I was so unsure about it, fitted it and had that feeling inside when you think to yourself, oh yeah you done good that looks awesome. Garage who fitted it were like this is not a show piece, its real deal and will put more downforce on front of car hence its size and why its bolted up so securely.

The few people who have seen it, when they eventually spot it are like wow that is really nice, aggressive yet subtle. :)

Hi there

Wheels ordered in 20x10" ET32 fronts (275/35/20 MPSS) and 20x11" ET55 rears (295/35/20 MPSS). :)

I know its not a Mustang, but watch this video:

That is Ford/GM's new 10-speed auto box, listen to those shifts and rumoured to shift faster than BMW's lastest DCT, hugely impressive from GM and Ford. :)

Will be an option in GM's latest 2017 Camaro ZL1 and 2017/2018 Mustang. :)

Damn that's nice, I can still return the Mustang within 28 days right ? :D

The ZL1 is US only and comes later this year.

But I think GM and Ford are knocking out some of the best drivers cars at the moment with huge performance, just wish more would come to the UK.

U.K. Might see this 10 speed auto though in the Mustang for 2018 replacing the current auto.

RTR side splitters and rear splats fitted, uses all OEM retainers, very easy to do. :)

Compliments the Steeda front splitter very well, car looks seriously low and wheels look smaller now I think so 20" required but might just be me imagining it.
