NEARLY 2 YEARS WAITING: New Mustang GT PP is finally mine!

What sort of knob do you have? :p

One that Gibbo was envious of apparently. :p

Alas, it's a Lathewerks one. They're hand made (unsurprisingly, on a lathe) who builds them to order. Mine's a titanium one with a blue to orange fade, but I think Gibbo's ordered a different one if I'm not mistaken.

Custom pack adds nickel alloys and chrome trim over the 3 options taken separately. Depending on colour chosen many have left custom pack off to keep the black wheels.

Ahh, I've read every post here about awesome it is. I honestly don't doubt it coming from your 911 but;

I'm sad to say just; dull looking interior, typical American exterior. Massive lump up front.

I really need to get in one to see what everyone is on about, really want to be impressed...

Bin those weedy tail pipes!

That's a great looking car you've got there Gibbo.

I look forward to reading the running reports and see what mods you do.

I can remember seeing your old Mustang outside work one day - looked amazing.

It's interesting to hear that some Ford dealers are getting these in for stock and retailing them for overs. I thought that some manufacturers forbid dealers for selling new above msrp- maybe this doesn't apply to Ford?

Looking good :)

Does the new exhaust give you bigger/more tips? Current ones look a bit small, almost like they've been lifted off of a Mondeo.

Yes, the stock tips I believe are 3", the new ones are 4.5" and completely fill the gaps in rear valance.

Still not fitted exhaust, but I did fit my Shelby wheel and billet knob, but as Dave says I have a Latheworks on the way.

I absolutely love the wheel, thicker grips, suede is lovely and just is more befitting to the type of car I feel, install took me 45 minutes in the dark, really a very easy job to do. No air bag lights or errors and you can only put the wheel back on in the position it came off so no need for an allignment afterwards.

The knob is very easy to install once you get the stock one off, mine the factory went OTT on the loctite so I need pipegrips and rubber mat to get it off. It feels no better than stock and yes its cold on an icy morning but I prefer the looks and it feels no worse.

That is my interior modifications completed, the white stitching on the wheel matches the interior spot on as the seats and dash all have white stitching. :)

Won't manage to get the exhaust on today, got a party to go today and then the casino tonight, so wish me luck and if I am not too hungover tomorrow then maybe I shall fit it. :)

A massive like button from me.

Had I won the Lottery last week, this still would have been my first purchase. Obviously quickly followed by a Hellcat and a C7 but none the less. We had a bog standard V6 on honeymoon and the car is now in my veins!
