Nice to see you'e got it :D

That site is great, if possible, wear an anti-static wrist band or ground yourself or something. It's not required, just reduces possible risk. Make sure you don't forget the standoffs between the motherboard and back of the case. Someone did that a while back and fried their mobo.

Also, sometimes it may be easier to install the CPU and heatsink outside of the case, but I don't know. I should be ordering my parts in a week, so you're ahead of me. :D

Random as it might be, my dad's advice regarding grounding is the non painted metalic bit of a radiator, does the trick every time!

what does this mean!!!!!

just been ripping everything out their boxes lolz . . .feeling a bit intimidated but sure I'll get through it .. .can't start building till tonight but will prob ask for help on here as and when needed . .

:p

That looks a good spec, the only thing I would change is that PSU. Change it for a Coolermaster, Zalman, Corsair, BeQuiet! or Seasonic.

Nice one :)
Standoffs raise the motherboard from the case by about 40 - 50mm approx, this will be included with the case.

Where's the pictures!?

You have to post pictures of all new builds. It's a unwritten rule.

yes, this mix up has clearly come about due to a lack of pics!!! :p

unfortuneately got no camera at work so, as far as reality is concened . . none of this has actually happened yet :(

the building will start at 8pm, cant wait!

Got delivered to work and I have to be here all night so might as well build it tonight. I'm in charge anyway so it's not like anyone can argue :p

Have a camera on phone but no leads or anything here . . .

Motherboard - check

CPU - check

PSU - check . . .

no idea where all the cables go though . . .

and ffs the memory slots are for DDR2 not 3 so I've hit a dead end
