Need a better ISP.

Well ive recently switched from Tiscali to a company called XLN. I'm terribly disappointed with the service they've provided so far. I'm getting disconnected at least 2 - 3 times every night, and constantly having problems loading up websites.

I don't want to go back with Tiscali because they were just as bad. Any suggestions ? (I cant get be*, Sky, O2 or Virgin as far as i know)

Connection Speed 8096 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 34.0 db 18.5 db
Noise Margin 9.9 db 22.0 db
Currently been connected for 600+ hours

Im getting problems like this;

Every time i go to browse the net, a site will load then when i want to goto a different site or another part it wont load, its like asif its loosing connection. But it isnt loosing connection because i can still stay connected on msn and downloads still work. I dont know what's going on here.
 
I used to own Adsl24 before I parted with it.

But if your looking for a well managed reseller (Adsl24 is a reseller not a ISP) then they are ideal and suppport is great.

Worth a go and 30 day contracts so if your not happy you can move again.

Dont be fooled by terms like unlimited downloads, in reality there is no such thing because someone has to pay for it and I assure you its not the ISP but the customer.

£19.99 a month a few good gigs of bandwidth is plenty.

1 More question, what is there customer service / technical support like ? Im not a nasty person but im fed up of being put through to a load of people who are reading prompts off screens.
 
As the other guys have said, you could do a lot worse than go with ADSL24. We have been on their £19.99 package for a good few months now, connection very reliable and the guys there are extremely helpful and efficent. Monthly contract term as well which is a bonus.
 
Yep im with UKFSN another enta reseller, very impressed :)

As G@rethf said there is a Monthly contract which means if you don't like it you only have to survive a month of it and you can leave unlike many ISPs where it can be 12 months or more ..

But im sure you won't want to leave :D
