on a budget of 150 pounds and need to upgrade a pc with a DDR2 MBoard, Chip, Graphics card...

been a few years since i upgraded a comp and alots changed lol so really need some kind person to help me :)

can stretch to 200 if need

also needs it play Wow, everquest2, portal2...

gigabyte board is just cool cos my last one was same make and lasted ages, is it a good one or should i look for another a few more quid higher?

Its a good one for its price, has some core unlocking features too, so you may get lucky and create a quad core cpu.

Spending a few more quid wont get much more, for features like SATA and USB3.0 you are looking at £70 just for the motherboard alone.
 
noob alert, aint looked into cores etc so im a lil nooby on the subject, really need to look into that asap

and the g cards looks very good
 
Core unlocking is a feature you will find in the BIOS, simple enough to use, and if it fails to work, you havent lost anything.

Fixed the motherboard link above, its the right motherboard that the Gigabyte link refers too.

How much DDR2 do you have?

The second motherboard is a DDR3 one, the motherboard in the spec is a DDR2 one.

using your 2GB of RAM without an easy way of getting to 4GB , unless you buy a 2X2GB DDR2 memory kit which are expensive compared too a 4GB DDR3 kit, and then selling your current ram, this motherboard wont unlock cpu cores.
