Samsung are so highly rated (I have one of these cards and it's fantastic) I would go for this as if it's just for OS it's more than enough, but if you really need the 500Gb go for either of the others as the speed difference wouldn't be noticeable under normal use.

You need to be sure that each variant will work, I'm only saying this because the Samsung you linked to is a PCIE drive, whereas the crucial is SATA3. I own both, both great.

I'm not in any great need of 500Gb as I put all my games on my 1Tb black drive, but I was thinking I may be able to put 1 or 2 of my favorite games on the ssd.

Thanks for pointing that out, I have checked on MSI mobo website and it says 2 x 2280 Key M(PCIe Gen3 x4/SATA).

So I'm guessing it can take both?

Yes it can, happy days!

Generally, PCIE drives are more expensive because they're faster, but you'd only notice the difference in benchmarking or m.2pcie to m.2pcie copying, so if I were you, I'd go for the SATA variant. I have no experience with the WD drive, but I have 2x 1TB Crucial drives in two systems as a games SSD and they're great.

If you do go with the crucial, download and install the crucial storage executive and update the firmware, it's a really handy utility.
