get one that takes a detachable 120mm fan, skythe ninja or similar, and strap a Yate Loon / Nexus 120mm on there.

Thanks-will look into that solution.

Does it require much skill replacing the fan or are the fittings the same?

Just seen the scythe infinity - also has a 120mm fan and the noise output from it's fan (23.5db) is pretty much the same as the nexus (22.8db) Would that be as good?

Hey there. Dont know if interested but i have the Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 on my 4200+ (skt 939):

Installation was easy, the retention block is not neccessary to be removed, this cooler can be just clipped on. Comes with fan mate, which i have stuck to the rear of my chasis, means i can keep the fan on low when doing stuff like this but can crank it up when gaming if neccesary. Lowered my temps by about 8-10°C

Noise - 18dB when on low and 27.5dB according to Zalman site.
