I was just looking for a cheap HDD for some media i have on my computer as it's filling up my drives. I've just seen Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB for super cheap. Is this a ok HDD? I don't know much about HDD's.

It's not the fastest 1TB drive but if you want big and cheap it's fine.
It's quite an old design now and has been overtaken by the F3.

Personally I'd pay the extra £6 for the 1TB F3.
The F1 is a much older version.
There's nothing wrong with the F1 it's just on older, slower version.
If you want as cheap as possible then F1. If you want something faster, and a more recent model, then F3.
