Need Flatmate!

Hey, I live in the Handsworth Area of Birmingham and need a flatmate to live with for my final year in Uni. My current contract expires in August and I don't want to have to be moving around in my final year, anyone in the area interested? £310 Per Month including bills.

Failing that, does anyone have any advice for me on how to solve this problem? My flatmate is leaving in August and I either need someone to replace her, or move into a 1 bedroom flat which I don't think there are many of in Birmingham that a Uni student can afford, any advice would be helpful!

Advertise at uni? Your university should have an accomodations office who will advertise for you, or at least give you permission to put up an ad on uni pinboards.

stick the ad up on the above web sites (if you want to keep the flat) in june/july

aye your right mjt, but I want to be able to get this sorted sooner rather than later. 6 Months is a long time, but I don't want to have to keep worrying about if I'll have a place to live in my third year.

when dealing with accomodation for the year ahead advertising now isnt a bad thing at all. When i was at uni most places had already been reserved/deposited by now.

Why not advertise around your uni? put posters up in the student union with a contact number or something.
