Yep engine sounds are low & poor & the speech ingame is average but the whole think is very arcade like so its to be expected.I have read that the engine sounds on the pc version are very quiet and not as good as the console versions is that true?
Not surprised it runs well for you as you have a stellar system, I'll be interested to hear how it runs on lower machines like mine.
Is it true the game has a 5 activation limit DRM like some other EA games do? (Burnout Paradise, NFS Undercover etc.)
Yep as you said they look fine but no HDR or lighting although when you go through tunnels you get some nice coloured lights its ok but not exceptional the backgrounds really are quite nice though compared to many other recent PC racers with low res backgrounds they look to have done it quite well here. The graphics look fine but they don't look that amazing from what I've seen so far. It doesn't seem to have any impressive lighting or HDR effects compared to some other games, Test Drive Unlimited springs to mind. And bear in mind TDU came out in 2006.
