Need for Speed PAYBACK 10 November 2017

The origin 10 hour subscriber trial is available if you subscribe.

If the download button doesn't show in your origin client first go to https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/origin-access/trials and click download, it will open up your origin client. Then navigate to Play first trials and the download button will pop up!

24mins download it says, looking forward to testing it as initial feedback suggests ''Need for Speed Payback feels like classic Burnout'' - It might not be playable until the 2nd of Nov though so I'll update this post.
 
Oh dear, this is not very good at all.....

Bad textures, dodgy looking cars, Ridge racer handling, it just feels and looks poor. I know it's a total arcade racer but it just lacks in every department so far.
 
Hopefully the online is better than the last one. I really liked the 2015 need for speed but online had some issues like the long roading screens and then when you get in the match the lobby only had 3 or 4 other people in it and car tuning meant you had to drive with some pretty terrible handling cars to be competitive.

The online for most wanted 2012 was so much more fun the lobbies were always full and had like 12 players in, the cars handled great and real good variation on tracks and modes.

Hopefully the online is more like most wanted 2012.

Can we play this right now with access?

Yes, if your an Origin Subscriber you can start your 10hr trial now, but don't get too excited.
 
Not sure what to make of it so far will need to drive the end game cars before I know if I like it.

Good points compared to last one:
Handling much better
Day light
wider tracks
no roading screen
 
I didn't even finish my 10 hours.

I will probably play it when it comes free on access but from what I played the cars seem too slow.
