Need for Speed Shift - Time Trial Championship

Right I give up. The car is a **** to handle. Have tweaked with loads of settings and I just can't get anything more out of it even though I can because the back end just keeps sliding out... if I can make it more planted at the rear then I may be able to touch 1:24.

May have another go later in the week if I can be bothered.

Had to use my digital camera for the proof for this one.

Its not easy . I was putting in solid 130's but anything below was really hard . Wheelspin out of the slower stuff is hard to control and you have to feather the throttle or feed some brake in . Found i cant even get into the 130 with a turbo as it just makes it to squirmy .

Gonna look at my settings and try some more downforce and see if that allows me to add more power . Still dunno how yer getting into 24's .

Well I have tried to get quicker times even using the settings our friend at the top used...but nothing I can not get quicker than 1.30. so I am leaving it at that...next car please? :D

Playing with any assists?

I am playing the actual game with all assists off but for this i've had to use high traction control because the back end is so crazy. Also using an amended version of the setup above and have actually created a fantastic handling vehicle if you like a bit of tailslide. I don't want to change it anymore as having the backend step out as it does is really good fun.

However if I am going to get 1:24 then i'll have to change it so the back end is more planted :(

I only have steering assist on low...might turn this off but I know for a fact it will be a killer to control the Cayman S...will let you know how I do...

Steering assist kills the steering for me, just got traction low, back end likes to squirm though, tried no assists at all and went off a lot :p

I spend most of my time sideways, especially in the first section and the hills.

Mines max'd out tuning wise with 100% downforce, it's quite fun once you are used to it and the track lends itself to drifting I find.

Ohh meant to post this sooner.... what's the deal with the time attack mode starting the clock as soon as you take control of the car and not when you cross the start/finish line!

Majorly irritating when setting a hot lap :)

I have noticed it launches you in really awkward places aswell, for instance on silverstone it launches you off the track onto the grass lol

Well managed to make a few tweaks but tried without steering assist and I swear I cannot keep it straight for love nor money...

but here is my latest:

Better I feel...but I think I could faster...so I will be back :D

Did bout 10 laps, ended up in walls couple of times :), in stock car last night, got to 1.38 something. Could go bit faster but not by much.
I quite enjoy the handling actualy. :)

Will upgrade it and give it another go later in the week.
