To be fair it certainly looks a lot less twitchy in that vid. I still suspect it isn't going to be anywhere near as 'sim' as EA are painting, but I still have high hopes for a cracking game regardless :)

I really don't want to get into it all again, but I did have a point, because even with sensitivity up high a simulator with any degree of physics accuracy wouldn't have the cars twitching about like that. But lets not go over all that again, we'll just be going round in circles.
 
twitching ? i think you might have a 'tick' Drex as your seeing things !! but as you say lets not go into that pointless debate again ...

nice to finally see a video without the racing line on the track, Laguna Seca is a great track... not long to wait now vroooooom!

high sens combined with non pro mode slicks etc would very likely=twitchyness. theres too many variables for you to have a point....im guna have a go with gt5p and pad to see if i can recreate

I know you want to drop it, but I just find it confusing that people still can't see it. There definitely was some bizarre twitchy physics going on (regardless of sensitivity), I don't understand why people can't see it, cars don't behave like that at high speeds. It's my biggest concern for Shift atm.

i see the twitchyness my point is that there could be a whole lot of other reasons for it, and that it could be recreated on other sim games....i just had a quick do on gt5p, i cant get the car to move as quick but i can get it close especially at speeds of 50mph-60mph...just watched the nordy vid again...biggest difference is how quick the wheel turns in nfs shift....no wonder its twichy....the steering wheel turns real fast.

in gt5p the wheel turns much slower even on top sens.....i reckon the twichyness is down to sens and non pro mode...will check some more later

i'd suggest holding off for now as with all hardware theres the new G27 due out, which hopefully means a further reduction in G25 prices.. from initial tests the G27 isnt anything majorly diff to the G25 plus it will be more expensive.

this game cant come soon enough !!! twitch twitch !!!
