Manual gears does make difference but how much all depends on the track, on certain tracks you not gonna see much difference in lap times.
I actually started using manual gears during season 1 championship after round 6 or 7 and if look you can tell my results were a lot improved after that.
Transition from auto to manual is not easy one but key point is don't give up too soon.
since we are talking about gears....
you guys with the G25.. do you actually use the clutch?
Firstly for changing gears, ( I mean can it be disabled?) and secondly..
within your driving... to keep the revs up?
On another note...

)Those bumps really are a pain - it would be nice if you could actually see bumps on the road. I'm sure some lines are more bumpy than others

consistent on the mid 23s.. no idea how I did this 22.
That's the thing grs, these times seem to come out the blue. Then for some reason you can constantly stay there without seemingly going any quicker. Weird.

No not yet. Not looking forward to doing it though. Stuttering with Fraps n' all. I'm having trouble with the same corner. Tried following racing line, diving in deep on the brakes turning in late etc
Yeah. Done a 6.47 with the Zonda R. Only had two or three goes, need to learn the track. Which is gonna be hard.

Might give the Nordschleife a go but not in the Zonda that car is silly on that track
