Need for Speed Time Trial Championship ** Season 2 ** (Multiplatform)

Model is HP W2558HC,
I've done lots of digging, read reviews, watched videos..
what I needed though was some real ppl experience input.

U see, I can get over here the 24inch for around 240pounds, but the 25.5 goes for 550pounds, which is quite a difference.
However, HP sells it for 300 but only in UK.
So as you can imagine I am in a bit of a spot here..
shall I get the 24 and have it next day? or stretch and wait to get the 25.5

If it was an average monitor.. I would settle for the 24,, but imo is one of the best TN out there.. so I dont think would regret the strech.
which.. if i was spending 300+ for the iyama.. I think I would regret it.. but not for the HP.
Hope I am making sense here :S

I've already placed a special order with Ocuk.. and will know on Monday about prices, delivery fees etc. so if the price is right I think I'll grab it :)

thanks for your input, and sorry guys for messing up this thread.

so.. here is my time for today..:

sense to me :)I would wait it out, but dont buy from dell, you will be paying £50 more UK prices compared to the makers own site.

I hope OcUK can get one for you, they would sell really well through OcUK as the features that this model has makes the competition look weak :D

Dont pay 240 for the 24", defo not worth it, I payed 300 for mine but they are under 200 now, wait out and pray that OcUK can get the 25.5" in, you wont reget a second of it when you do get it. This one of those things that when you want it you must have and nothing else can even get close but when you get it its pure bliss.

Back to topic, im working on a lap time but im so utterly useless with the lambo im only getting 1.25 at the mo lol

I meant HP.. sells it for 300.

so you think 240 is to much for the 24?
cause I can get Samsung 2443NW for 190.. you dont think is worth the strech for the glossy hp?

My effort. Are you sure this car handles alright? Mine, no matter what tuning, feels slippery in the corners even with full downforce.

hmm.. I dropped the tire pressure to low 32,, and added some camber.. hmm what else did I do?

I think I added some rear understeer and made the slide more controllable, and made the front antiroll stiffer that the rear

This is diff track to Focus ST from last season ....right?

Or is all the xmas drink catching up with me?

as much as i really enjoy this game, i have to admit that im sick to death of the cut track peanalty. You go wide (no cutting track but taking the longer route) and you get missed lap time for cutting track!

Is it just me or do other people find this too? I have even found that if i step the back end out on some apexes even with the front on the track its cuting my lap time off.

It can be annoying, but you just need to get used to what you can and can't get away with. It usually gives you a little bit of leeway and I haven't had the problem that my back end swinging a little bit off the track results in the warning yet - not played this track & car yet though - about to try now.

my effort from last night.

I am finding the best line rather distracting so I have turned it off which makes it much easier to correct errors or slides.
