Need FPS tips!

Yea, I try to pre-empt people, but don't know many of the levels well enough at the moment! I guess that just comes with time...

Not knowing levels is a HUGE disadvantage on CSS for example, remember some people have played the same level for hundreds and hundreds of hours.

quicker to pull a pistol than reload your gun, so gaining a few seconds there

i don't think you really get it, or are choosing not to, so i'll just leave it

both are important. But Making sure the primary weapon is reloaded is just common sense. Secondary weapons are for when you are in the middle of a gunfight and dont have time to reload.

But if im not surrounded by enemies then i dont switch to the secondary weapon i reload my primary weapon.

Out of combat = reload
In combat = change to another weapon.

my advice is just play on deathmatch servers etc move around a lot dont just sit in a corner and wait (which i find very annoying when i get killed by a corner camper) and next is use low DPI setting on your mouse.
