Need help and advice on mechanical Issue on bandit

Had some luck over the few days! Think she is running almost like new except from a very small surge at idle and can just about be felt when going under 10mph I can feel it biting a little but nothing really noticeable.

The fueling seemed way of as I was able to turn the screw in around 3 turns when the book states it should be 1+7/8. They also had a little carbon them so I soaked them in carb cleaner then gave them a wipe before I put them back in. The bike started up ok but it was surging which you could feel and was quite annoying when trying to travel slow so I took the tank of again and had another look. I noticed that my scot oiler vacuum lead was badly cracked and was leaking air so I took it of and made a cap for it from a pencil tip and a bit of tube XD I then removed the k&n filter and fitted the stock that one in and did another little carb sync and she was ticking over great and pulling like I've never seen before! Could really feel the front wheel wanting to lift!

So hopefully thats it all fixed and I have no more issues or headaches :# I'm going to send that bloody K&N filter back and try to get a new vacuume end for the oiler if that is possible?

Also looks like I've came into a little bit of cash so I'm in the market for a new jacket, my textile one is getting worn and grubby and its to warm for sunny days #If there is another this summer) I'm looking for a leather one and I seen this which looked pretty neat: http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/65865

Glad you finally got it sorted mate I was gutted for ya. As for the jacket the only thing I'd say is make sure you try it on First. Drayton Croft do RST stuff, Do you have one local ?

I'm over the mood at the moment, hopefully it keeps itself sorted but I'm not going to touch it in fear :D

Well I seen it the other day in ayr motorcycles but never got the chance to try it on so I might pop down on the next dry day and try it on, see how it feels. Same price as online as well :)

Remember it needs to be fairly tight when you try it on as they loosen quite a bit over time, My leather has 2 zips on it as well so you can put more jumpers on & use the outer zip, Good feature that is.

Looking for a tighter fit as im sick of my big bulky jacket :( Just want something that is comfortable on sunny days and doesn't make me sweat like a rapist =P (Also looks cooler XD )

GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! Cleaned the bike up today and got it spotless all ready for the nice weather and going for a new jacket next week. Started it up and it was rough as hell so I took it out to get petrol and there was no power at all bogging right down! :( My head is about to burst! Really as a loss now and don't have a clue what to do I've tried everything possable :( Took it straight round to a small bike garage who fixed my puncture and only found out about them yesterday, well hidden garage.

Anyways the guys is very nice (Older guy and his son) they really aren't out for scamming and want to cost me the least money possable. They asked me if I wanted to come in and strip the bike down with them to keep the cost down and so that I could get better experence. Also said it could have been something which I've done wrong so they will have to do the same what I've done all over again but atleast I'll be there.

The main thing he wants to check is the inlet rubbers from the carb to the cylinder, sayed they were soft and they should be hard. Also sayed that the shouldn't be vibrating in and out but they weren't drawing in any WD-40 when we sprayed it on them with the engine running.

So a month of trying to fix this and wasting money on tools, parts and countless days taking things of and on have been usless. Got no where at all! :( The money that I came into is now going to have to be put into something I shouldn't have even got installed and ****** everything up! Really just want it fixed and peace of mind, I really do love the bike but its driving me insane nothing at all has gone right for me recently :(
