will everything work ok in that spec? also, if people have any ideas on what i can replace with something cheaper without losing much performance, although i'm determined to keep that case. that 1900xt is also just for reference, i'm getting one off a mate for £175 ( 512meg version). anyone have any ideas? i was thinking maybe get a 1900GTO instead and clock it?
any feedback would be nice , thanks in advance.

thanks. ok i'm now tempted to just buy a lower spec graphics card and buy something later after the 8800 series gets released, i just want to game at 1024x768 with no AA or AF, would a 7600GT do the trick in the meantime? or would a 7900GS be wiser?

ok, ive waited ages and no-one has helpd yet, i'm just wondering is a 1900xt overkill? would a 7900GS be wiser because i'l only be playing my games at 1280x1024 max, and i'l be quite happy to play oblivion at medium quality. does that seem ok then? and does anybody have any idea of what parts of the spec i can change to save a few bucks without hurting performance too much?

tis a good spec, from the sounds of your usage(light gaming) i would be tempted to maybe, get a cheaper less elaborate motherboard and a mid range graphics card... X1950pro, or maybe X1800XT if you can get hold of one... tis worth spending the money on a X1800 then a 7600gt...
