Hi guys i'm looking for a pc for editing, recording (uncompressed HD), streaming and gaming.

not needed OS, Mouse, Keyboard

my budget is £1000 or do you think i neeed more?

Cheaper than a GTX570, less power hungry so you can easily run a pair of 6950 of a 750w psu.

The game programmers have said that a pair of GTX580's (£650) is needed for ultra settings.

The Flex has the ability to run 3 or more screens with having to use a displayport to DVI "active adapter" or needing a monitor with a displayport input.


To run three screens of the other card you need to use one of these - http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=4&gid=1010&sgid=1011&pid=357&psn=&lid=3&leg=0 or one of the three screens needs a displayport input while the other two screens can use the DVI outputs.

Apart from the cooler designs, The turbo has an extra 40MHz on the core and 120Mhz on the RAM, this isnt much in the great scheme of things.

Yes, either,

The whole order is delayed until its all in stock and is then sent to you.

Or you get all of it with the cooler to follow when in stock, you get a heatsink with the Retail CPU so no drama.

You won't be any worse of getting it that's for sure, but if you want it that much then by all means go for the 2700k instead. I however would rather put that extra £30 towards a better/nicer case.

+1 to £20/30 elsewhere. Just go for the 2600k, and you'll get a real nice OC no problem
