Hopefully someone on here will be able to identify this light bulb for me :) The flat I live in has wall mounted light fittings with this particular type of bulb.

Now they have all now blown, there are 6 in total, plus I want to be able to replace them with energy saving bulbs if possible.
And on the topic of light bulbs are there any online shops that are highly rated?

Here is the picture

Thank you.

Edit - Just a little extra information, both ends of the bulb have a concave metal contact point also.

R7S rings a bell for some reason. Think normal R7 stuff is 118mm, i guess the S stands for "short" :)

6x100w light fittings? Must keep the place warm at any rate!

Don't think you can get an enery saver to replace it (short of replacing the whole fitting)

Ah thank you :) They do indeed look like the correct type.

Shame there are no energy savers :( the Halogen ones may be what I need then.

And yeah the 6X100 were across the living room, landing, bedroom :) The living room and bedroom are fine as I can use standard bayonet energy savers, just the landing is pitch black as there are only two of these wall mounted R7 fittings. So I'll at least have to replace them.

Think you can get 75/80w version, so you can easily save 7/8p a quarter if you switch over ;)
