Completely pointless in an instance where the games he's playing are heavily single threaded.
good thing that valorant uses multi threading then i suppose?

Everything I've seen (which the post by @Tetras seems to confirm) suggests that high single threaded performance is the most important thing for that particular game.
is there anyone who has used these that can tell me roughly what fps you got in different games?
AMD 5600 build has 32gb of memory for the same money as the 12400f build with 16gb of memory .Thanks, I think I will get these then. I will be playing games like Siege or Apex for example when I get this.
Thanks for the help.
If I have anymore questions I'll post them on here
Are you suggesting I get the AMD build instead?AMD 5600 build has 32gb of memory for the same money as the 12400f build with 16gb of memory .
Something to be considered.
There are 2 builds suggested intel post 4 and AMD post 14 and you wanted to up the CPU to a 12400f did you cost both builds them up ? because the AMD build work out better value against the 12400f hence may comment in post 27.Are you suggesting I get the AMD build instead?
I have already bought and received 16GB DDR4 3200mhz RAM if that's what you are referring to.
If it's something to do with the CPU please explain if this will give me more FPS, whatever game.
What Mobo should I get if I choose to get the 5600, and is it worth paying slightly more for a tiny improvement in the 5600X?
For me I would get the AMD 5600 and the money saved can be spent on a case.So I already have 16GB ram DDR4 3200mhz, not 32GB.
Should I get the more expensive intel combo or cheaper Ryzen combo.
I could also used the extra money if i buy the Ryzen for a new PC case for example. I have a really old one that has horrible ventilation.
Yeah same, but I found the 5600X for £13 more, is it worth the extra money and can it be OC?For me I would get the AMD 5600 and the money saved can be spent on a case.

Or is it just better to OC 5600?
What's also the best budget case for the B550M? I don't want to be spending too much money on it.
Yes they will work with the motherboard, what PSU is it and how old ?Two more things, with the MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI motherboard, will my PSU (650 watts corsair) and GPU (GTx 1070) work and fit in it?
Yes It's fine for now and your new upgradeCorsair TX550M, turns out I only have 550 watts. Is this enough? And is this enough for the future, I might want to upgrade my GPU in the future. It was ordered in November 2020.
What is the best GPU I can get without having to upgrade it?Yes It's fine for now and your new upgrade
No point upgrading the psu until you get a more powerful GPU.
