need help on new specs =)

For gaming stick with the i5K on the 1155. My buddy Idleman has done you a lovely little spec there.

i hear what ur saying i jus want it to be good for future games too so itl not need upgrading for a while everything ran on high as **** too lol and if i7 is 250 quid, i mightt do it tbh, ill do i7 on 1155 what am i looking at at i7 ?

no disrespect for your input mate its always appreciated

I7 3770K will add hyperthreading but it's Zero use for gaming. Better off with the i5K, it's cheaper and just as good for gaming, it's on offer currently to help pay for a good value heatsink. If you are willing to pay more on the CPU you can afford more on the heatsink to get better overclocks and temps on the i5K

That's a decent 2011 spec, Ideally you want quad channel RAM which means buying another RAM kit. There are more CPUs due for this socket but it's really meant for power users/professionals. I've only done the spec to show what good value Idlemans build is ;)

Spec with an i7. Don't know if you want/need a SSD. Went for the Sapphire card as it's supposed to be a good o/c. I'm sure some of the 7970's were voltage locked...someone correct me if im wrong.
