You could always just go from the photos if you can't get the data? A little bit of extra work, but nothing too much.
As an example, I took your image from the other thread as you don't have data for that. I don't want to spend more than 1 minute tuning the greys in GIMP for nice peaks etc so I just turned it white where the track was and used it as a displacement map.
Obviously looks silly in my example and it's just to demonstrate, but if you spend more than one minute on it, you can get the effects you want, the relative heights through the greyscale etc.
