Hi guys, got a problemo.
I just finished reinstalling fresh Win7 on my new SSD when I realised my BIOS settings were still running all my disks (SSD and 2 HDDs) in IDE mode from before.
Samsung Disk Magician and general consensus tells me I should switch to ACHI mode so to do that I'm gonna format all three drives again and do a clean install yet again after enabling ACHI mode in the BIOS.
My question is, if you can look at these screenshots I want to know which settings I need to change in my BIOS itself.
This looks like the main control for the SATA IDE/ACHI setting... which do I need?
And do these settings on the next page have anything to do with what I'm after too? ESATA and GSATA settings.
These are the options for the above settings.
As you can probably tell it's my first time setting up the BIOS differently so I'd love your advice as to what the best thing to do is.
Many thanks!
