Hi I've just got a new 4tb HGST 4tb HDD and its only showing as 1677.90GB in Windows it's set already set as GPT.

The quickstart guide says you need to use HGST disk manager to over come the 2.2TB limit but I've tried installing it but I get an error telling me no HGST HDD was found.

I'm on windows 7 64bit using the HDD as storage PC spec's in sig when I'm in the bios the HDD is showing as 4TB.

Thanks for any help

I've sorted it I switched the Sata from the Intel controller to Asmedia and I get 4tb now I think it wasn't working with Intel because its in raid or maybe not ether way its working now so I'm happy thanks for the help.

Not a fan of using non intel sata controllers but whatever.
