just follow my instructions as above and do a fresh install if it is that bad 

firstly download a freebie registry cleanerrun that and clean it all up then try
i think a re install of windows is best option, however i just bought a new harddrive, if i put all the data i need on this drive, then dissconnect it, re install windows then reconnect it will this work? the new hard drive only has music, video and pictures on it, s oi cant see them having amy virus's
