Need help with Windows XP Disk Management tool

Hi guys,

Hope someone can guide me with the following.

I have a 2nd (slave) hard drive (80gig) installed in my PC which has been partitioned into 2 x 40gig. I want to remove the partition so I just have a single 80gig drive. Can I use Windows Disk Management to do this? I have seen the option to delete the partition which I assume will do the trick but dont want to risk ruining the drive completely. I have formatted both partitions so there is no data. I am running Windows XP SP2 by the way.

Yeah, delete both partitions on the drive, then you can create a new one using the whole disk space.
