just turn the number key pad off - usually a function

Press fn and then the relevant key - on mine its scroll lock.

lol G Man that's seriously what it is... it's not "Num Lock" it's "Function LocK"

You're laptop keyboard will have a "function key" which allows you to use the dark coloured 2nd function of the keys... yours is set for function lock on - very handy for playing Civ 4 but not for typing

There's a key for it somewhere
