1 of my Seagate Barru's(Pink glue) has failed and the other 1 which is working cannot be found by Windows during installation. If anyone knows why then that is cool but as of right now I can only think to buy 2 new HDD's to fix the problem.

So what is cool right now?

I'm tempted by a 60Gb SSD but the low capacity is really a problem and I cannot afford a bigger one right now. My backup files I drag from install to install to 20Gb itself

What about regular hard drives though? I don't know what is hot these days.

WD Caviar Black seems pretty good

I can take 3Gb or 6Gb on my GIGABYE GA-X58A-UD3R mobo

Thanks for the help pals.

There's no point in paying a premium for a 6Gbps interface on a mechanical hard disk which can't even saturate a 150MBps SATA1 connection.

You'll get better performance for less money from a 1Tb Samsung F3.
