In 11:55 , had 12:20 to do it! Thanks for everyones help and support on here, very much appreciated!!

I am very , very happy - fitness is not my thing at all, and for me, I have just accomplished the impossible. Sounds dramatic I know, but I have no confidence when fitness is involved. My 1st fitness test, I did it in 15:44 - so knocked off 4 mins from last time!

So again thank you very much!!!! :D

I am actually pooing though while typing this, thought it would be a good idea to clear my bowels out before hand. :D

I take it this was the entrance fitness test ?

When i did my basic training ( over 20 years ago now ) all i can remeber was the follwing to pass for a fitness test .

In an allotted time :

1.5 miles

30 Press ups
30 sits ups
30 star jumps
30 burpees

Swim 2 lenghths of the pool climb out ( not using the steps) jump of the high board and tread water for 3 mins all wearing overalls .

All very easy stuff .

The hardest thing I had to do but more of a confidence thing was to climb a 60 foot rope get to the top and wrap it around your legs and remove your hands , we had to sit there for 1 miniute it killed me at the time.
