Need some info about portsmouth

i got job offer in portsmouth and when i check ofsted report very few schools are good/outstanding and crime rate shows on higher side.

anybody leave or give me some more information.

Note this will be my first time entering in UK.

Bit of an odd first post to be fair.

My only experience with portsmouth is driving through it to get a ferry..

Although that part of the country has higher rates of migration than northern areas, leading to a cultural inbalance and crime.. No suprise really.

Never been to the UK before and you want to live in Portsmouth?

Stay where you are. Even if you're from Darfur. It's better than Portsmouth.

Seriously, it is a pretty dodgy place. There’s far nicer places along the south coast.

i am working in Gulf now and looking to migrate there so i got offer in portsmouth

While traffic can be a bit heavy (if you chose to drive) there are plenty of places within easy commuting distance of Portsmouth that are much nicer to live and bring up children, etc.

She was badly designed, I’ll give you that, but she did have a decent service history and saw a lot of action.
