Need to buy a new game! No idea what, im picky help me!

TF2 is nothing special imo. Don't see what the fuss is about.

CS:S and L4D are miles better. Get these, don't waste your cash on the **** that is TF2. :)

As much as I enjoyed dod:s at first I don't think it's worth getting over cs:s or tf2. Dod:s player base is relitively small compared to other source games.

If you haven't got it already, Day Of Defeat Source.

That game refreshes First Person Shooters beyond anything you could dream of.
Imo it's not a patch on the original version, but it's a different take on things however you look at it.

@ OP - maybe try something really different? If you don't like new stuff, pick up some old(ish) stuff you may have missed. I got the Dreamfall/Longest Journey set on a whim and found it a hugely enjoyable change from the norm. Bit of story and humour instead of shooting things all the time. Just grabbed beyond good and evil off steam for peanuts with the same reasoning. Steam winter sale is a good reason to pick up random titles :p

its hardly a waste of cash at 6.99 for TF2 :| even if yopu only play it a few times its well worth the experience n having it sat there for a change.

as for what to go with, L4D, doesn't get boring, great fun, great gameplay. smashing zombies faces in with the butt of ur gun never gets old. buy it now!

tf2 is painful to play, so slow and dumbed down its untrue. tfc its predecessor if you ever played it at clan level was extremely skilful and the movement was on a different level to tf2. you should try fortress forever, a free mod based off the original tfc but brought to the source engine http://fortress-forever.com/ althought the game isn't very popular at public level which is sad but they are hopeing for it to get nomianted for the steamworks conversion which should generate some interest.

left for dead is great fun with 4 human players, expert campaign mode for the win

Left 4 Dead without a doubt. It isn't repetitive due to the way the engine is done, plus versus mode is great and there is content in the pipes too.

Mmm thanks guys, due to money im spending else wehre ive picked up portal, bioshock and sins of a solar empire. I will get l4d next time as paying an extra 6 quid deoshn't really bother me that much.
