Need to edit this image!

Hi guys. My mate is trying to edit this picture:

Basically this is what hes said:

"basically need it so you can still see it, but it doesn't stand out quite so bright on the black background. without losing the detail."

Do you have photoshotop?

Open the image, create a new layer and put it on top of the pic, fill the new layer black and then play with the opacity of the new layer until you have it hwo he wants.

Should take about 1 - 2 mins

Unfortunately I dont have photoshop here otherwise I would do it for you.
