Ok i've bought a guide for my D200 camera but it's a PDF file and is over 700 pages.

I'd like a hard copy bound so that I can read it away from the PC. Does anyone know an online company that I could send the PDF to and then they will print, bind and post it to me???

Thanks

why not just buy a d200 guide in the 1st place, it'll probably work out cheaper than paying to have it bound tbh. You might get lucky on ebay.

Surely your local printing shop will print that out for you?

Or you can go to your nearest council printing section and they will do it for you. :)

Unless you're free to reproduce it any company you go to may have issues with the copyright. Not sure if they'd bother getting in to that though, or just assume you have permission.

No it's fine, he authorises it in the first page, even tells you use duplex.

2. I grant those of you who purchased this eBook directly
from Thom Hogan the specific permission to print or
have printed by a third party a single copy of this
eBook for your own private use. You may not resell
that printed copy, and must destroy it if you sell or
pass on the original eBook you received to someone
else. Do not print a copy if you don’t agree with the
previous sentence.

Don't know where you could get a book made - look up printing in yellow pages and phone around maybe?

For the 'cheap way' I'd just print it all out (you can get software to format the pages correctly, or some printers do it in their drivers) and just glue the edge - just get a little pool of pva glue and dip the edge of the book in it for a few minutes - leave to dry and you have a book.

Look in the yellow pages for an office supplies shop near you. Most of them will have this facility to print and bind. Alternatively try a university or college, they'll definitely have this facility somewhere for printing and binding dissertations and stuff like that.

Just print it out and bind it.
A ream (500 sheets) of paper will cost from £3 upwards. You would have to buy toner for your printer at some point anyway. Binding plus covers shouldn't be more than a few quid at any print shop.
Comb (or wire binding) will be better for the guide as it will stay open at the page you want leaving you both hands free for yopur photography.

Print 2 pages on each sheet, and then front and back. So you'll only need 175 sheets then.

Decent laser in most printing shops should do this... then get the binding things and punch the holes in the paper.

if you print it out and put in order i`ll do you a favor and get it punched and put a comb in it for yer cause im feeling kind(also got the stuff in work)also got big guillotine's if you need it cut
