I'd love other opinions but I only plan on running it for an hour to upload whilst I wat for it to get here, still no idea eh it's not turning on

It will overheat very quickly without any thermal paste. At best it will shut down at worst it will ruin the CPU.

If its a new motherboard, update the Bios and install a fresh windows (and drivers).

You can't,have patience and wait till you have thermal paste,your only gonna do more damage

I have the same cpu and mobo and it would not post because I did not have the cooler screwed down tight enough, put some thermal paste on and try tightening the cooler a bit

I looked around on the internet and many places said it's not vital to have But very recommended, it'll will increase heat by 30-40% and honestly when uploading to YouTube t won't get that hot, like I said I earn needed money of this so it's important that I get it up, I guess il wait though

I'm using an old processor from my prviousmptherboard, when I removed it it pulls of the paste, also this still hasn't really answered my question

Umm you definitely want thermal paste on that, there's a good chance you can kill the CPU if the cooling isn't adequate enough.

If you've been running it with no thermal paste you've probably killed the CPU.

I've always used It wth thermal paste and it won't even turn on without it so it has nothing to do with it.

as above it might need the heatsink to clamp the cpu down for it to post,no idea on amd systems

what psu? tested without the graphic card and using onboard graphics?

anyway to test with another psu

if its still doing it it can only be the cpu
