Neon Noir benchmarks

Makes you wonder if it is something that NVidia could do at a driver level?

Not without some serious hacking/interception of the code - there is a lot done via a mixture of software and general compute to get the results rather than something that is presented to the drivers to provide a direct result that nVidia could offload.

I'm guessing you were getting around 60 fps.

If it works like the final fantasy xv demo then it takes your fps with two decimals and multiples it up to thousands.
So a score of 5240 would mean an average fps of 52.40

That is just my guess anyway hahah

Lol having to make an account and install a launcher.

Did my first run with the benchmark.

2560x1440 Ultra.
8700k 5ghz, 2080ti @ 2100mhz

Score: 9890

If I remove the overclock, the score is 9350. So a pretty poor boost from a overclock - expected though with what we've seen - ray tracing doesn't respond that well to core overclocks, it likes memory overclocks that give it more bandwidth but I don't overclock my memory.

Core overclocks work well for me.

I ran the benchmark at 340x1440 on ultra and got a score of 6702. A second run at 4k got me 4236. I had Task Manager, GPU-Z and SIV running. The CPU was barely exercised but my RTX 2080 Ti was maxxed. I'll have to try overclocking it.

At 3440x1440 I got a solid 60-90 fps, mostly between 70 and 80, except for the close-up on the bullet casings where it dropped to 55 fps.

So, i7-8700, RTX 2080 Ti, 32 GB RAM, Nvidia Driver 436.88, ultra settings:

1080p: 12594, 120-150 fps
1440UW: 6702, 55-90 fps
2160p: 4236, 37-59 fps

Edit: 2160p Very High setting: 5323 and a solid 50-65 fps with a dip to 45 around the bullet casings.
