I also bought the OCUk one, and it sucked, so I went to a competitor and spend 369 and and it is awesome.

Gibbo,
I wondered if you could help me at all I have one of your neptune monitor stands and while moving house i let my "friend" :/ put the stand back together. Sadly my drill was in sight, he was in a rush and also a bit uneducated with power tools. The upshot of these things meant that he over tightened the middle mount C clamp and destroyed it.
I was wondering if you knew of any way I could get another of them as I'm now really a bit stuck and i cant work out another method to repair it, apart from possibly trying to offer my "friend" as a sacrifice to the eyefinity gods, which trust me, I'm more than happy to do. In fact if you send me a mailing address or care to collect, Ill happily trade you him for a bracket, hell i'll even provide him dressed in Mr Blobby costume with a ball gag
Anyway, if theyres anything you can do to help please let me know

That explanation is surely worthy of a replacement piece.

Make him buy the broken one off you for £210 then order a new one.

If you did this, you could make a nice £40 profit for your trouble if you don't mind a B-Grade one. You'd also have a full set of spares for the rest of the stand in case your mate ever visits again!

So you just need centre tube? If so my engineering sample I have I can probably give you that.
Problem is I am off oveaseas as off tomorrow for a few weeks.
So if you email in CS and point them to my reply here, get them to find the engineering sample and we can send you the centre pole.

Should be fine, contact CS and hopefully they can track down the engineering stand, pull this bit off it and post it out.
I would normally sort this, but today is my last day here for a few weeks as am travelling.

I could have survived if it was the pole, i would have just got him to track some 50mm steel down and paint it. Sadly i cant remake this thing and while its possible to make my friend smely a new one, I wouldn't want to be in the same country as him and molten metal (he cant smelt, me neither)
The pole is not required, but if you care to send it, ill gladly fashion a thumbscrew type affair with it and some JB weld so others are safe from the "friend"

I hope you have a very nice holiday and please let me know if you would like a ball gagged, thumbscrewed, Mr Blobby for anything (I suggest not kids party's or any type of DIY, I suspect making coffee may be a push also).
