Bought a netbook a few days ago, came with a 500GB harddrive which is lovely, but fancy putting in a SSD to make it a bit quicker and help with battery life a little.
Not sure on the ION chipset but the Intel Atom chipset is only SATA150, so any decent SSD is bottlenecked.
I really wouldn't recomend spending a lot on one for a netbook, you'll see an improvement but it's just not as significant as on other machines that have SATA300.
Could you live with 40GB? How about the Kingston V 40GB at around £70-75 - a great drive using the Intel G2 technology, but at least it's cheap.
